A residential district heating project in Almaty, Kazakhstan, serving a community of 5,000 residents. The region faces severe winters with temperatures dropping to -30°C, making reliable heating a matter of public safety.
The Challenge
The existing heating infrastructure was outdated Soviet-era equipment with low efficiency and frequent leaks. Residents complained of insufficient heating during peak winter. The municipality needed a modern, automated system that could adjust output based on outdoor temperatures to save energy.
Our Solution
We supplied 3 units of 10-ton WNS Gas Hot Water Boilers installed in parallel. The system featues a weather-compensation control module that automatically adjusts boiler load based on ambient temperature sensors. It replaced the old coal system with clean natural gas, reducing urban pollution.
