Client Background
A major cardboard packaging manufacturer in Mexico City, supplying packaging solutions for the electronics and logistics industries. Steam is essential for their corrugating machines and drying processes.
The Challenge
The client was facing high natural gas costs which were reducing strict profit margins. Additionally, water scarcity in the region meant that continuous freshwater makeup for the boiler was expensive and environmentally unsustainable. They needed a solution that would minimize both gas and water usage.
Our Solution
Yudong designed a highly efficient 12-ton WNS Gas Steam Boiler system integrated with a dual-stage economizer and condenser. Crucially, we implemented a closed-loop condensate recovery system that recycles high-temperature condensate water back to the boiler, significantly reducing the need for cold fresh water and fuel to heat it.
