Client Background
A leading rubber processing factory in Rayong, Thailand, supplying raw materials to global tire manufacturers. The site generates tons of rubber tree waste and wood chips daily.
The Challenge
The factory was spending a fortune on heavy oil for their old boilers while paying to dispose of wood waste. They needed a system that could burn their moist rubber tree waste (high moisture content ~40%) smokelessly to meet strict new environmental regulations.
Our Solution
We implemented a 20-ton SZL Biomass Chain Grate Boiler with a custom-designed elongated furnace arch to aid the drying and combustion of high-moisture fuel. The emission control system includes a multi-tube dust collector followed by a wet scrubber to ensure exhaust gases are clean and odorless.
