The Municipal District Heating Company of Kashkadarya is responsible for providing winter heating to over 50,000 residents. The region experiences temperatures dropping to -20°C, requiring a robust and reliable heating infrastructure.
The Challenge
The previous system relied on aging coal-fired boilers that were inefficient (65% efficiency) and caused severe air pollution. The client faced frequent breakdowns during peak winter months and rising coal procurement costs. They needed a clean, automated, and high-efficiency solution to replace the old units before the next winter season.
Our Solution
Yudong Boiler supplied 3 units of WNS series 10-ton gas-fired steam boilers (WNS10-1.25-Q). These boilers feature a large corrugated furnace design to increase heat transfer area and are equipped with advanced low-NOx burners from Italy (Baltur/Riello). The system includes a customized PLC control panel for fully automated operation, requiring minimal manual supervision. We also provided a comprehensive water treatment system to extend boiler lifespan.
