Client Background
A specialized chemical plant in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE, manufacturing synthetic resins and adhesives. The production process involves exothermic reactions that require precise heating and cooling cycles.
The Challenge
Safety standards in the Free Zone are among the highest in the world. The client needed a system that could operate at high temperatures (280°C) without high pressure (to minimize explosion risk). They also required N+1 redundancy for all critical pumps to preventing fluid stagnation and overheating.
Our Solution
We supplied a 5000KW YYQW Gas Thermal Oil Heater. The system uses a specialized synthetic heat transfer fluid. It features a triple-safety interlock system (flow, temperature, pressure) and 100% redundant circulation pumps. The burner is rated for Zone 2 hazardous area operation.
